At times we are troubled by the volume of tasks we have to complete during the day leading to stress. This happens as we do not prioritise our work. One way of identifying priorities are by classifying the tasks on the basis of urgency and importance.

The tasks which are neither important nor urgent may be sidelined.Hower one should be very clear about what are urgent or important.

The tasks which are urgent but not important may be delegated.For example, you have to receive a courier and is scheduled at a particular time.

The tasks which are urgent and important may be completed immediately with the support of others if required.

However we should give quality time for planning and completing the tasks which are important but not urgent. These are the ones which will become urgent and important.

Priorities have to be kept even at the time of planning as our priorities decide quality of our life
